The Aloha Festival is a FREE event open to everyone and for all ages.
We are hosting a Community Cultural Workshop Stage for artisans, crafters, muscians, dancers, historians and storytellers!
This is an opportunity to share with others your skills, stories or craft.
Please complete the online registration form on this page and tell us about your proposed workshop for the community. It can be and is not limited to:
- Talk Story Time
- Learn to Oli/Chant
- Learn to make Lei
- Learn a mele (song) in Hawaiian
- Learn to dance hula
- Share a "Chicken Skin" Tale or Two
- Read a Hawaiian Childrens book to Keiki
- Cooking Hawaiian Style/Share recipes
- Share stories of Hawaiian history/Ali'i
- Share Hawaiian Quilting customs
A small stage will be available for your demostration.
Depending on participation and workshop, times will be limited to 30mins - 1hour
We encourage everyone with a talent or something to share to participate! All ideas are welcome.
When submitting your form please let us know how much time you need and the best date and time for your presentation. We will try to accommodate you.
Notification of your time slot will be announced by July 30th. A schedule will be available on this page soon thereafter.
