Festival Highlights
The Colorado Aloha Festival is a cultural celebration of Hawaii in Boulder. Events include a concert featuring some of Hawaii’s top performers, Hawaiian art and food vendor booths, free Hawaiian music and hula performances.
The Aloha Festival is run by Halau Hula o na Mauna Pohaku, an all-volunteer, nonprofit hula halau (school) dedicated to preserving the Hawaiian culture in Colorado. Many people generously donate time and talent to make this community event possible.

The Colorado Aloha Festival is a two-day event, held in downtown Boulderon the 29th Street MallSaturday & Sunday, Sept 18 - 19, 2010The festival expects to draw upon the well attended CU football game (attendance average exceeds 50,000+), the Boulder Marathon (shuttle service for the marathon is on the 29th street mall on Saturday) and an additional 5,000 - 7,000 people anticipated to take part in the Aloha Festival. See the additional information about the (Univ of Hawaii) football game scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2010. The festival site is a short distance to the CU Boulder campus, where the game will commence. It offers the community cultural workshops, to promote awareness of Hawaii and Polynesian history, through, dance, arts and crafts.
